This forum appears to be as active as Frontline and seems to only serve in losing touch with many of the people there that have no idea about this forum.

So my question is why did you think a new IP would make anything different? The only thing missing from Frontline is a new online game that we all play. But now instead of posting there, we(everyone from there) is expected to be here. If people aren't posting there, why would they suddenly post here? Did I miss the free cookies?

???

My offer to help in any way possible, technical or otherwise, still stands. Alex, if you're too busy with school/life/whatever (and trust me, I understand) to get this thing off the ground, then ask for help from us members of the community that are willing. I know BBB is willing and I certainly am willing. Just ask for help.

Alternatively, can one of us "buy" FFC from Granite? Does it work like that?

Why do we need to buy it? Why don't we just stay there instead? Or stay here after you tell EVERYONE there to leave just to start over with the same posts in a different style of forum?

It makes no sense. Most of "us" are still there and only know about Frontline anyway. Granite barely gets anyone to support that forum financially, now it's twice as hard using the exact same people with 2 forums.

Illogical me thinks. Time to re-unite.

It was a good idea in theory, since a new "look" and change may have helped kick start something. Problem is we have only a small handful of us playing any type of game these days, and Bad Company 2 has been plagued by the same crappy server stability/browser problems that have haunted us since BF2. A lot of other established games (Source, for example) already have their communities established so it's hard to break onto those scenes as well.

The one fortunate thing about all this is that I can support this website and TS (TeamSpeak3 is far superior to 2 FYI) indefinitely.

So whats the plan?

Lets just update Frontline. (easier said than done, I know)
Keep the TS server and put effort into rebuilding our original community.

Striker:

have you heard of Dolby AXON? It's like TS/VOIP but surround sound.

Have not tried it myself, only just read about it.
